Marshall Adame believes America is a wonderful and great country. When traveling throughout the world as a career U.S. Marine and later as a U.S. Diplomat, Marshall was often asked what its like to live in America. Marshall’s reply was always riveting. 

“Do you know how you have heard that the streets of America are paved with gold? It’s true, but the streets are made of something of much greater value than gold. Our streets are paved in Liberty, Freedom, Hope and Love. These things ring loudly everywhere you go in America”.

In recent years our U.S. Congress has become distressed. Our Democracy’s system of checks and balances has come under harmful, perhaps dangerous assault by narrow interest of enormous power. Our own President has contributed to this effort to undermine our Constitution.

The U.S. Constitution is in danger of becoming irrelevant. Many of our representatives in Washington have failed, for political purposes, to “protect and defend” our Constitution and Bill of Rights as they have sworn to do. North Carolina needs to send a voice of strength, experience and reason to Washington DC. 

Marshall Adame is a voice of reason, clarity and extensive real world experience. North Carolina deserves to have a member with real lifetime experience representing them in Washington.
